Surprisingly sensitive, the Bullmastiff was originally bred in England to guard large estates and protect the inhabitants.  Training a Bullmastiff takes time and patience, but is necessary in order to keep them from being to independent and stubborn.  They are also sometimes referred to as a: Brindle Bullmastiff, French Bullmastiff, or a Italian Bullmastiff.
