The Doxiepoo is a small, fluffy dog whose heritage includes a Dachshund and Poodle as such they can carry the traits of either breed when it comes to size, appearance, and temperament. These dogs are often good with other dogs provided they have been properly trained and socialized. Although these dogs are generally good with children, they are often fine-boned, and small children can accidentally injure these dogs easily. These dogs require minimal room and modest exercise making them ideal for apartment living. As with any poodle cross, these dogs can carry the poodle's low allergen genes although this is not guaranteed. People with allergies should look at these dogs on an individual basis to see if their allergies react. The Doxiepoo is also known as a Doodle in some circles.
