When you cross a Jack Russell Terrier and a Chihuahua or any mix combining those breeds, you end up with the Jack Chi, otherwise known as the Jackhuahua. These mixed-breed dogs are, like all cross breeds, unpredictable as far as size, color, and temperament. However, as both the Jack Russell Terrier and Chihuahua are small, delicate dogs, there is a good chance that dogs from this crossing will remain smaller. These dogs are often very active requiring significant exercise for their size and often have a high prey drive making them unsuitable for homes with small pets. These dogs are often "yappy" and are often nippy making them unsuitable for houses with children.
