The Old English Sheepdog is an iconic shepherd known to millions as the beloved Nana from Peter Pan. These large, fluffy dogs require plenty of grooming, exercise and space to remain happy and healthy. The Old English Sheepdog is generally good with older children when well socialized. While friendly with their family, human and canine alike, these dogs do not tolerate other dogs well and require firm and consistency training to keep these dogs under control. Known also as the Altenglisher Schaeferhund, Altenglischer Schäferhund, Antiguo Perro pastor Inglés, Bob, Bobtail and the OES.
