A cross between a Poodle (typically a Toy Poodle) and a Shih Tzu creates the popular cross breed: Shih Poo. Shih Poos, like other Poodle mixes have a wavy coat and are hypo-allergenic. Playful and intelligent, the Shih Poo loves nothing more than receiving attention from their owner and won't hesitate to let you know if they aren't getting enough by silently staring at you. They are also sometimes referred to as a: Shih Tzu Poodle Mix, Shihpoo, Shih Tzu Poodle, or a Poodle Shih Tzu Mix.
