Unaware of their small stature, Shorkies think they are a much bigger dog than they are. This can be contributed in part to their two parent breeds; the Shih Tzu and Yorkshire Terrier. Always ready to play, a Shorkie will seem just as happy running around the house as they are curling up on their masters lap for a mid-day snooze. Loving and affectionate, a Shorkie hates being left behind and always wants to be in on the action. In fact, one of the favorite activities of a Shorkie is riding in the car with their owners.
