Welcome to the “Florida Whippet Breeders” page of Local Puppy Breeders! If this is your first time visiting our site, every state page on LPB (that’s shorthand for Local Puppy Breeders) has a complete list of every single local breeder that we have identified in that state. You will be able to find all their current contact information, as well as a link to their website, so you can see what puppies they currently have available for sale. We provide you with all this information so that you can research each breeder individually and find the one that has your perfect puppy available!
A cousin of the Greyhound and Saluki breeds, the smaller-sized Whippet has a long slender frame that looks like it was born to run. They have earned the nickname "Miniature Greyhound" based on their similar features and small stature. Daily exercise and running is a must for the Whippet breed, and it's not recommended that you keep one confined to small spaces for very long. Quiet, yet very smart, the Whippet usually spends lots of line laying down and sleeping when they aren't running outside. This makes them ideal for apartment living, if you have the ability and time to exercise them daily.
